We concentrate on rescuing animals – lost, abandoned and those left behind when their owners die. We spay/neuter every dog and cat that passes through our hands. Thanks to our adoption initiatives and community outreach programs we have been able to spay/neuter over 1,500 pets. Your donation helps aid our efforts. Donate now to Fur and Feather Animal Assistance > Your contribution to Fur and Feather Animal Assistance goes straight to work helping animals at the sanctuary.

Fur and Feather is a no-kill sanctuary. All animals coming here are given good food, safe shelter, healthcare, exercise, and most importantly, all the love and attention they need, for as long as it takes for them to find loving homes of their own. Some of the dogs and cats that arrive here are simply destined to stay until their final days come to pass. At Fur and Feather our philosophy is that these animals, especially when they are quite elderly, should not ever have to change their path again. Some pets with disabilities take extra time to develop their routines. Once they become part of our family we prefer to let them live out their days here with us. We also have a few who, due to circumstance or behavior, we will not adopt out. We appreciate any offers to help with the care of these “Full Timers”.

OUR MISSION:  To alleviate animal suffering by providing sanctuary from abuse, neglect, and homelessness; to end the killing of healthy animals as a method of population control; to teach that animals are intrinsically valuable, worthy of respect, compassion and care. Fur and Feather Animal Assistance, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
